Finding the value yourself

You can find the value of listed stock or share from the financial pages of a newspaper, from the newspaper’s website or a commercial website. You need to identify the closing price of the share on the day the person died. This will be listed in the following day’s newspaper it may therefore be necessary to go to a main city library in order to get a hold of this.
